Job Summary

The Visit Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental center. This position is responsible for greeting and assisting patients, providing direct and indirect clerical support to the clinical team, and coordinating patient programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent the clinic through initial patient contact, providing exceptional customer service and a positive experience.
  • Manage the multi-line phone system, handling or routing calls in a timely manner.
  • Direct patients to the appropriate area, ensuring a seamless flow of patients.
  • Schedule patient appointments, confirm appointments as instructed, and maintain the clinic schedule.
  • Collect and verify patient information, including current dental concerns, and update patient records accordingly.
  • Prepare patient charts, registration and health history forms, and other necessary documents.
  • Process patient payments, discuss fees, and collect payments in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Coordinate post-op and lab procedures, and assist patients in determining eligibility for financial programs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area, ensuring a positive and welcoming environment for patients.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with diverse patient populations.
  • Punctual and dependable, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic computer literacy and typing skills, with the ability to learn and adapt to new software and systems.
