Job Summary

FDRsafety is seeking a highly skilled Site Safety Coordinator to oversee a 1-year project near El Paso, TX. This position is responsible for maintaining a safe work environment by auditing safety performance, revising safety policies and procedures as needed, and providing safety training for a single site location.


Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree in Safety or a related field, OSHA 10 certification, and/or OSHA 30 General Industry certification are required.
  • 3-5 years of safety experience or a related discipline within a manufacturing setting is required.
  • Previous experience in the consumer products industry is preferred.
  • Strong PC skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and Hazardous Material management concepts and techniques.
  • Ability to train and educate employees on safety, OSHA, and DOT management concepts.
  • Highly organized with the ability to handle confidential information discreetly.
  • Ability to function independently and take the initiative until tasks are complete.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to function under pressure while handling multiple assignments with various deadlines.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, sit, lift, squat, walk, crouch, reach, and operate a keyboard/calculator are required.
  • Must be able to pass a Motor Vehicles Records check.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
