**Job Summary:** We are seeking an experienced Director of Operations and Strategy to lead our plant operations and drive business growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing and managing plant operations, developing long-term operational strategies, and working closely with senior management to meet company objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • **Establish and Implement Operational Strategies:** Develop and implement operational strategies to improve plant efficiency, productivity, and performance.
  • **Manage Plant Operations:** Oversee all aspects of plant operations, including production, maintenance, service, and other production-related activities.
  • **Lead Cross-Functional Teams:** Lead and coordinate efforts among operations, engineering, supply chain, sales, and customer service functions to produce effective front-to-back process flows and cost-effective business processes.
  • **Develop and Manage Budgets:** Plan, direct, control, implement, evaluate, monitor, and forecast budgets and cost of sales in each division to achieve financial objectives.
  • **Communicate Effectively:** Communicate and explain new directives, policies, or procedures to manufacturing personnel, and meet with entire operations staff to explain changes, answer questions, and maintain morale.
  • **Improve Customer Service:** Improve customer service and satisfaction through policy and procedural changes.
Requirements:
  • **Education:** Bachelor's degree, engineering preferred, and 10+ years of plant/general management experience in a manufacturing environment; master's degree preferred.
  • **Skills:** Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, internet, MRP systems, and other resources; management/supervision experience; proven track record in managing production; excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • **Physical Demands:** Ability to use all extremities to efficiently operate manual tools and power tools; ability to work in a variety of environments which may include exposure to extreme heat, humidity, fumes, airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, loud noise, and all-weather conditions.
