Job Summary:

OnTrac is seeking an Operations Assistant Level 1 to assist Operations Managers with administrative duties and customer service support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist drivers in the checkout process, verifying that all packages are out for delivery and report missing or not out for delivery packages.
  • Track package deliveries, process and document problem packages, research issues when needed and update OnTrac's proprietary tracking system for Customers, Customer Service team, and other facilities.
  • Communicate with customers regarding their package status.
  • Research, analyze, and report on daily compliances to management and prepare business reports as needed.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • One year of related industry experience and/or training in transportation and delivery or an equivalent combination of both education and specific work experience required
  • General knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel Programs
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills
  • Ability to multitask, self-manage, and work efficiently in stressful situations
