Ryder, a premier logistics and transportation company, seeks a seasoned Logistics Professional for a daily home schedule. This role offers a unique blend of driving and operational responsibilities, requiring a skilled individual to join our team in Seattle, WA.
As a Logistics Professional, you will be responsible for safely operating a vehicle within a predetermined area, adhering to strict safety regulations and protocols. This position requires compliance with federal and state laws, as well as Ryder's internal policies and procedures.
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 9 months of verifiable driving experience and be able to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures. They will also be able to follow written and/or oral instructions and possess excellent communication skills.
This role offers a competitive salary, with an estimated weekly pay of $1070, paid weekly. Additional benefits include a retention bonus of $2000, paid training, and a schedule that includes Monday to Friday, with no weekends. Ryder also offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a 401(k) plan with company match.
The Logistics Professional will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards, and guidelines. They will also be responsible for detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards and maintaining accurate records of loading and unloading freight.

Requirements
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Minimum of 9 months of verifiable driving experience
- Pass a Ryder Drug Test
- Must have verifiable driving experience in like equipment
- Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
- Pass a DOT physical
- Pass a Ryder road test
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
- Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
Responsibilities
- This position is primarily responsible for safely driving a vehicle within and requires compliance with safety regulations, continuous training and customer service.
- Additional Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
- Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards
- Maintaining accurate records Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
- Other tasks as assigned
Salary Information
The estimated weekly pay for this position is $1070, paid weekly. This includes a weekly guarantee of $1070 per week, with the possibility of hourly pay of $26.75 per hour.
