Nuclear Medicine Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Right Destination Staffing Agency LLC. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of in vivo and in vitro Nuclear Medicine procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and maintain stationary and portable scintillation equipment, including gamma cameras, Geiger-Mueller counters, well counters, and dose calibration devices.
- Perform PET, Nuc Med, and CT diagnostic studies on PET/CT scanners, including injection of CT Contrast Media, image acquisition, and reformatting.
- Conduct quality control checks on equipment and ensure compliance with State regulatory radiation safety practices and the principles of ALARA.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide quality patient care and ensure timely throughput of patients.
- Participate in scanner qualification for research trials and perform necessary scans and procedures.
- Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program.
- Minimum one-year, full-time experience working as a CNMT.
- Current BLS certification.
- Current and active State of California CNMT License.
- Current and active NMTCB and/or AART (N) licensure for Nuclear Medicine.
- Minimum 1-year, full-time experience performing Nuclear Medicine procedures.
- Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures, and forms.
