Compensation: $110,000 to $150,000 + Comprehensive Benefits + Performance Bonus

The successful candidate will report to the Nuclear Medicine Supervisor and will be tasked with executing a full spectrum of in vivo and in vitro Nuclear Medicine procedures using radiopharmaceuticals and associated chemical agents.

This role emphasizes delivering high-quality patient care, ensuring efficient patient throughput, and conducting examinations with precision.

The incumbent will operate and conduct quality assurance on both stationary and portable scintillation devices, including gamma cameras, Geiger-Mueller counters, well counters, dose calibration instruments, and supplementary equipment.

Responsibilities also include performing PET, Nuclear Medicine, and CT diagnostic assessments on PET/CT scanners, which involves the administration of CT Contrast Media, image capture, and reformatting.

Moreover, the incumbent will conduct necessary scans and procedures to facilitate scanner qualification for research initiatives.

They will also develop and program study-specific protocols, encompassing administration, imaging, and reformatting, under the guidance of the Nuclear Medicine Supervisor and Medical Director.

Required Qualifications:

  • Ability to foster and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System.
  • Capacity to sustain a work pace suitable for the workload.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills relevant to the position.
  • Knowledge of state regulatory radiation safety protocols and the principles of ALARA.
  • Graduation from an accredited Nuclear Medicine program.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating effectively in English.
  • Availability for on-call/call-back service as required.
  • A minimum of one year of full-time experience as a CNMT.
  • Possession of the skills, knowledge, and abilities essential for successful job performance.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Active State of California CNMT License.
  • Current NMTCB and/or AART (N) licensure for Nuclear Medicine.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least one year of full-time experience in performing Nuclear Medicine procedures.
  • Familiarity with university and medical center organizations, policies, procedures, and documentation.

Skills and Certifications:

  • Current BLS certification
  • Active State of California CNMT License
  • Current NMTCB and/or AART (N) licensure for Nuclear Medicine
