Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Full-Time/Days
Job Summary
Ishr is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team in Irvine, CA. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the preparation and administration of radiopharmaceuticals, as well as operating complex medical equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes
- Operate and maintain complex medical equipment, including gamma cameras and PET scanners
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and safe patient care
- Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Develop and implement procedures to improve efficiency and patient satisfaction
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program
- Current and active State of California CNMT License
- Current and active NMTCB and/or AART (N) licensure for Nuclear Medicine
- Minimum one year, full-time experience working as a CNMT
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
- Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
- Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year, full-time experience performing Nuclear Medicine procedures
- Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures, and forms
