Job Summary:
Protouch Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the administration of radioactive materials for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer radioactive materials to patients for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes
- Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment, including cameras and computers
- Develop and implement procedures for the safe handling and disposal of radioactive materials
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment of patients
- Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program
- Current and active State of California CNMT License
- Current and active NMTCB and/or AART (N) licensure for Nuclear Medicine
- Minimum one year, full-time experience working as a CNMT
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year, full-time experience performing Nuclear Medicine procedures
- Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures, and forms
