Position Overview:

Soliant is seeking a skilled and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services within a school environment. The SLP will play a crucial role in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating students who face challenges related to speech, language, voice, and fluency.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough assessments and evaluations for students experiencing speech and language difficulties.
  • Create and execute personalized treatment plans that cater to the unique needs of each student.
  • Deliver direct therapy services to students, both in individual and group formats.
  • Track and document student progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
  • Work collaboratively with educators, parents, and other school personnel to enhance students' communication objectives.
  • Engage in IEP meetings, contributing insights on student progress and setting goals.
  • Keep precise and timely records of evaluations, therapy sessions, and progress reports.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Current SLP license or certification in Mississippi.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is preferred.
  • Experience in a school setting is highly advantageous.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
