As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for patients by delivering therapeutic services aimed at improving speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized therapy to assist patients in regaining their communication and swallowing abilities.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and interdisciplinary team members to communicate patient progress and address any concerns.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient care in compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
  • Educate patients' families and nursing staff on effective follow-up strategies and care plans.
  • Ensure a safe and hygienic environment by maintaining equipment and workspaces.
  • Participate in marketing initiatives and team meetings to promote services and share insights.
  • Adhere to the company’s ethical standards and applicable laws in all professional interactions.
Qualifications:

To qualify for the role of Speech Language Pathologist, candidates must possess:

  • A master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology or Audiology from ASHA.
  • A minimum of six months of relevant experience with adult and geriatric populations.
  • A valid and unrestricted Speech Language Pathologist license in the state of practice.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • The ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
