Company Background

Serco Inc. is seeking qualified candidates for a potential contract award. This position is contingent upon contract funding and is not currently active.

Serco provides program support services to the US Army Security Assistance Command (USASAC), overseeing the Army Foreign Military Sales (FMS) initiative and serving as the Executive Agent for the Army Security Assistance Program.


Our team is dedicated to delivering programmatic support throughout the entire FMS CASE Life Cycle, from Case Development to Case Closure. This includes performance analysis, business process design, workforce training, and leadership development.


Key Responsibilities


In this role, you will:

  • Contribute to the formulation of national and regional strategic security documents by offering strategic and operational analysis related to logistics.
  • Research and evaluate strategic plans and initiatives, assessing their potential impacts and opportunities within the Security Assistance Enterprise.
  • Assist in crafting strategies for the implementation of USASAC's strategic support plans.
  • Gather data concerning security assistance strategies and plans, providing analysis and recommendations regarding USASAC's interests and opportunities.
  • Offer milestone planning recommendations and insights during strategic planning discussions.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, logistics planning, requirements determination, and the development of policy standards and procedures to support logistics planning.


Utilize your organizational, leadership, critical thinking, and communication skills to enhance demand planning, transportation support, and customer relationship management.

Support Level I and Level II Logisticians as necessary to identify and analyze challenges and propose solutions.


Qualifications


To excel in this position, you will need:

  • A DOD Interim Secret clearance or higher.
  • US Citizenship.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in disciplines such as Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Project Management, Business Administration, Accounting, Contract Management, Liberal Arts, Education, or other related fields.
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant technical experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity, preferably in logistics support planning, material fielding, or sustainment support.
  • The ability to travel up to 10% of the time.

Preferred Skills and Experience


Experience and understanding of the Foreign Military Sales process are advantageous, along with familiarity with USASAC's mission and organizational structure.
