We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Activities Associate to join our team at Five Star Senior Living. As a key member of our community, you will play a vital role in delivering engaging and meaningful experiences for our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze the community's resident population to identify programming needs and opportunities.
- Collaborate with the Life Enrichment Director to develop and implement recreational programs that cater to diverse interests and abilities.
- Create opportunities for residents to interact with the community through outside trips, volunteer programs, and arts and entertainment initiatives.
- Assess the effectiveness of programs through attendance sheets and surveys, ensuring continuous improvement and resident satisfaction.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring residents receive support and assistance as needed.
- High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in human services or recreation therapy preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with small groups and individuals.
- Previous experience working in a senior living setting is a plus.
- Valid state Driver's License or Chauffeur's license as required by property and/or state.
- First Aid Certification desired.
