Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned environmental planner to enhance and support our Environmental Services division, particularly within the Water Resources sector.

Key Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in environmental assessments, with a focus on:

  • Task management and workflow oversight
  • Quality assurance and control
  • Schedule establishment and preparation of environmental documentation in accordance with relevant legislation.

This role will involve leading environmental planning initiatives, delegating tasks, and collaborating effectively with specialists and engineering teams to evaluate project alternatives and compile technical reports.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in managing smaller projects is advantageous, while a strong background in NEPA planning within the transportation, energy, or water sectors is essential. Candidates should demonstrate:

  • Ability to interpret and apply NEPA regulations and guidance
  • Experience in leveraging client relationships for business development
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Proven collaborative skills within diverse project teams
  • Strong GIS and graphics capabilities (preferred but not mandatory)

Required Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or a related field is necessary, along with:

  • A minimum of 10 years of technical and field experience in complex environmental planning projects
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and research skills
