Job Title: Sustainability Manager

Transwestern Real Estate Services is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sustainability Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sustainability team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive sustainability programs that drive business value and minimize environmental impact.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement sustainability strategies that align with company goals and objectives
  • Conduct materiality assessments and identify key objectives and tactics to drive sustainability initiatives
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to promote sustainability practices and engage external partners to leverage resources and opportunities
  • Manage energy data and develop corporate sustainability innovations to advance environmental practices
  • Develop and maintain regular cadences of environmental reporting, including annual sustainability reports and other necessary reporting products
  • Lead the assessment and analysis of current energy usage across all properties and support property teams with energy efficiency projects
  • Partner with senior leaders to establish meaningful long-term environmental targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability Studies, Social Sciences, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in corporate sustainability or ESG, corporate governance, or related field
  • Proven project management skills and ability to juggle multiple tasks and competing priorities
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe
  • Strong analytical, data collection, and reporting capabilities with high attention to detail
  • High level of cultural competence and cultural agility
  • Excellent writing and verbal presentation skills
