The RoleAs an Accounting Specialist, you will be responsible for efficient and accurate processing and posting of vendor invoices, customer payments, receivable documents, and month-end worksheets. Your daily tasks will include:
Accounts Payable- Maintain the A/P email inbox and match vendor invoices
- Key in freight invoices
- Process customer invoicing and manage collections
- Handle customer portals
- Process incoming mail and checks
- Handle daily bank transactions
- Assist with maintaining accurate records and updating procedural documentation
- Provide backup support to the team
We are looking for a driven achiever with strong attention to detail and a self-driven work ethic. You should have:
- An Associate degree in Accounting or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years related accounting experience
- Strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills, with experience in Microsoft Great Plains a plus
We offer a competitive salary of $21-$24/hr, as well as a range of benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance, PTO, 401(k) with 3% match, and profit sharing incentive bonus. We also have a fun committee and wellness team, and offer paid training and educational assistance.
