Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse II to join our team at Children's National Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Washington
  • 1 year of experience in a pediatric or medical-surgical setting
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
  • Experience with electronic medical records
  • Knowledge of pediatric nursing principles and practices
