Pediatric LPN II Job Description

At Children's National Hospital, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate LPN II to join our pediatric nursing team. As a LPN II, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to our young patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, Physician, or Advanced Practice Nurse.
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to meet those needs.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by a physician.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements:
  • Current LPN licensure in the state of practice.
  • 1 year of experience in pediatric nursing or a related field.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
