At Children's National Medical Center, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate LPN II to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families.
Job Summary:The LPN II will work under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, Physician, or Advanced Practice Nurse to provide care to patients. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care, including vital sign collection, medication administration, and wound care.
- Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers.
- Participate in the development and implementation of patient care plans.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly.
- Current LPN licensure in the District of Columbia.
- 2 years of experience as an LPN in a pediatric setting.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
