Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated, dependable, and highly organized individual with a passion for animals and a minimum of two years of experience in a veterinary clinic setting. This role focuses on fostering, developing, and enhancing partnerships with veterinary practices in the designated region.

The ideal candidate will be open to a part-time schedule, exhibit a proactive approach to contribute to our ongoing success, and demonstrate a willingness to grow within the organization. In this position, you will receive a base salary along with commission opportunities, offering significant long-term earning potential.

This role requires successful completion of a Property and Casualty license in your state or province of residence. The licensing process includes a comprehensive background check that reviews your history from age 18 onward. For further details, please refer to the relevant Department of Insurance website.

Physical visits to animal hospitals are a requirement for this position, and all team members must be vaccinated against Covid-19.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of the veterinary sector (minimum of 2 years of experience in a veterinary clinic).
  • Demonstrate a commitment to reducing economic euthanasia in pets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with partnering veterinary practices.
  • Present confidently to veterinary hospital owners and staff.
  • Exhibit a strong belief in our mission to empower responsible pet owners to provide optimal care for their pets during illness or injury.
  • Establish and nurture positive relationships with clients through courteous and professional service.
  • Work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team.
  • Show an entrepreneurial spirit, characterized by persistence and patience.
  • Exhibit excellent communication and listening skills, along with a professional demeanor.
  • Sales and marketing experience is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (primarily Outlook, Excel, and Word).
  • Reside within the designated area and be prepared to travel to veterinary hospitals three days a week, in addition to performing some administrative tasks from a home office.
  • Maintain a valid and clean driving record and have access to reliable transportation.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must obtain and maintain a Property and Casualty Insurance License to be eligible for employment.
  • Physical visits to animal hospitals are mandatory, and all team members must be vaccinated against Covid-19.
  • Participate in a one-week remote training program (via Zoom, highly interactive).
  • Availability for occasional weekends for veterinary conferences.
