Summary
  • We are seeking a seasoned Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to enhance our executive recruiting practice, addressing critical leadership succession and hiring objectives.
  • The Global Talent Scouts are strategically positioned within Talent Acquisition to facilitate comprehensive executive recruitment and develop external succession strategies for high-level leadership roles in anticipation of hiring needs.
  • This role encompasses a global scope across all divisions of the client, primarily tasked with delivering top-tier talent to the executive community.
  • The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist will serve as a strategic consultant to both business and HR on executive recruitment methodologies and assessment techniques, ensuring a premium recruiting experience.
  • Collaboration with a sourcing team is essential to cultivate extensive networks in the external candidate market, identifying and engaging highly sought-after talent to inspire them to join the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and oversee the comprehensive recruiting strategy for executive-level roles, utilizing multiple market approaches (advertising, direct sourcing, internal referrals) to support senior hiring initiatives.
  • Maintain precise and timely records within our ATS system (Workday).
  • Employ assessment tools to provide diverse data points on senior candidates, facilitating the selection of the most suitable talent for the organization.
  • Utilize reporting and dashboards to effectively communicate current open positions and historical performance to business and HR stakeholders.
  • Lead the sourcing team in developing external talent pipeline strategies and initiatives aligned with business priorities, ensuring a robust and relevant talent pool of specialized skills and leadership capabilities.
  • Collaborate closely with key stakeholders and internal partners, including HR Business Partners, People and Organizational Development, and Business Operations leadership, to identify critical skills and current internal talent populations to secure the best candidates for executive openings.
  • Build internal and external networks to leverage connections to talent groups as necessary.
  • Proactively manage external scouting relationships by optimizing the use of all relevant channels (social networks, candidate databases, professional associations, and industry conferences).
  • Provide market intelligence to inform talent strategy adjustments and act as a subject matter expert on external talent trends and executive search strategies, employing the rigor typical of an executive search firm.
Key Requirements:
  • Degree in HR/business or a related scientific field.
  • Extensive experience in executive search, talent scouting, and talent acquisition for senior management roles.
  • Hands-on experience with Workday.
  • Proficient in executive-level communication in English.
  • Exceptional presentation and business partnership skills, with the ability to foster effective relationships across the Talent Acquisition Center of Expertise, Human Resources, and the business.
  • Knowledge of assessment tools (e.g., psychometric testing) and significant experience in evaluating and interviewing senior executives.
  • Experience in conducting talent market research, preparing talent long lists, executing outreach, exploratory meetings, and short-listing viable candidates.
  • Proven experience in designing proactive talent engagement and relationship management strategies.
  • Experience in Executive Search within the Pharma/Biotech sector.
  • Technically adept, capable of navigating the evolving landscape of proactive talent acquisition tools and global channels to identify and engage potential candidates.
  • Skilled in relationship building, with the ability to nurture connections over extended periods.
