Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our team at VCA Animal Care Clinic in El Sobrante, CA. As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our veterinary team in delivering exceptional medical services.
Key Responsibilities- Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with medical procedures, including physical examinations, anesthesia monitoring, and surgical preparation.
- Perform laboratory work, including venipuncture, catheter placement, and radiology.
- Provide compassionate care to hospitalized animals, including patient recovery and monitoring.
- Collaborate with the veterinary team to develop and implement treatment plans for patients.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment.
- Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT), Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT), or Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) certification.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Veterinary Technician in a veterinary hospital or clinic setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and clients.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and outstanding client experiences.
