Role Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as an Assistant Infant/Toddler Teacher at Reggio's Treehouse LLC. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about early childhood education and has a strong desire to make a positive impact on young learners.

About You

  • You will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in child development work, preferably in a licensed setting.
  • You will possess excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and lead faculty in implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum.
  • A Child Development Associate Credential (CDA) or higher is required, or the willingness to enroll and complete the CDA once hired.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Discuss assigned duties with the lead educator to coordinate instructional efforts.
  2. Monitor, record, and support student progress and development.
  3. Prepare lesson materials, bulletin board displays, exhibits, equipment, and demonstrations.
  4. Learns technology required to document children's experiences and supports documentation of student/classroom experiences.
  5. Collaborates with other educators to share new ideas, approaches, and professional knowledge.
  6. Coordinates with the lead educator to ensure effective delivery of the curriculum to specified classes.
  7. Safeguards and promotes the welfare of children.
  8. Acts professionally at all times, setting a good example for children.
  9. Organizes and participates in parent meetings, school meetings, events, and trips.

Salary Estimate: $45,000 - $55,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
