Energy and Infrastructure Career Associate

Orrick currently has an opportunity for a Career Associate to join our market-leading Energy & Infrastructure practice in New York or Washington, D.C. While the position will be based in New York or Washington, D.C., the associate would regularly work with members of Orrick's Energy & Infrastructure practice across our offices in Houston and San Francisco.
Our Career Associate program offers top legal talent an alternative to the partner track while still providing opportunities to do cutting-edge legal work for the world's leading companies. Lawyers join us as Career Associates at many stages, from recent graduates and participants in our Career Associate summer program to more senior lawyers who join after practicing in other settings. Qualifications- Two to four years' experience in a law firm's energy and infrastructure practice or other relevant energy and infrastructure experience.
- Excellent legal research, writing, and communication skills are necessary.
- Candidates must be highly motivated and possess excellent academic credentials, along with superior communication skills.
- Membership to the NY State or D.C. Bar or eligibility to waive in is required.
- Flexible work schedules and arrangements will be considered.

Compensation and BenefitsThe expected salary range for this position is between $130,000 and $180,000.
Orrick is committed to providing a comprehensive, competitive, and thoughtful total compensation package to our attorneys and staff, wherever they work. This compensation and benefits information is based on Orrick's estimate as of the date of publication and may be modified in the future. The level of pay within the range will depend on a variety of job-related factors that may include, but not limited to, qualifications, relevant experience or education, particular skills or expertise, and geography. Other compensation may include an annual discretionary merit bonus, which would be determined by Firm and individual performance.
