Job Summary:

Waterbury Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with Daily Living Activities: Provide assistance with daily living needs, including delivering meals, turning and ambulating patients, and ensuring patients have access to fresh water and extra nourishment between meals.
  • Personal Hygiene Support: Assist patients with personal hygiene needs, including providing bedpans, helping with baths, shampoos, and showers.
  • Adjunct Care: Provide adjunct care to patients, including applying ice packs, non-sterile dressings, and therapeutic baths.
  • Vital Sign Monitoring: Check vital signs and record daily information in the patient's chart.
  • Team Collaboration: Assist nurses and other staff members as needed to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Professional Standards: Adhere to professional standards, follow policies and procedures, and comply with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Joint Commission standards.

Requirements:
