About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fleet Service Coordinator to join our team at the City of Atlanta. As a key member of our Public Works department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our fleet services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to our clients, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Repair Coordination: Coordinate and oversee the repair of vehicles, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards and within the agreed-upon timeframe.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with customers, service technicians, and other stakeholders to ensure that all parties are informed and up-to-date on the status of repairs.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all repairs, including parts used, labor hours, and customer interactions.
  • Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the repair process, working closely with customers and service technicians to find solutions.
Requirements
  • Experience: A minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the automotive or trucking industry.
  • Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certifications: A valid Georgia driver's license is required.
