Pediatric Shift Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Shift Coordinator to join our team at Children's National Hospital. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for coordinating patient care, managing staff, and ensuring the smooth operation of our pediatric units.
Responsibilities- Coordinate patient care activities, including assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and implementing interventions.
- Manage and supervise nursing staff, including assigning tasks, providing guidance, and evaluating performance.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Develop and maintain effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in pediatric nursing, with a focus on clinical coordination and leadership.
- Current RN licensure in the District of Columbia.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
