Responsibilities Include:
- Delivering high-quality veterinary care to a diverse range of animals, adhering to shelter medicine principles.
- Efficiently diagnosing and treating patients, ensuring timely communication with veterinary colleagues across various ASPCA programs.
- Conducting medical examinations for in-house and foster animals, ensuring ongoing care aligns with the humane flow of animals.
- Leading daily medical rounds, assessing individual patients and populations, and implementing treatment recommendations promptly.
- Guiding decisions regarding euthanasia with a focus on the animals' overall well-being.
- Teaching and mentoring staff on shelter medicine protocols and principles, fostering a culture of learning and improvement.

Compensation:

Qualifications:
- Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine (Required)
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical practice with cats
