As a member of our team, you will work on a variety of assignments, which may include field studies, research investigations, construction oversight, data interpretation, and evaluation, or report preparation. You will also learn project management techniques and the CDM Smith management system.

Job Description:

  • Perform surface and subsurface soil sampling, groundwater sampling, and other field data collection.
  • Perform engineering design for environmental projects, including preparation of drawings, specifications, calculations, and operation plans.
  • Review draft assessments and calculations for compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Perform remedial construction oversight and quality control.
  • Author and estimate remedial costs for feasibility studies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
  • 3 years of related experience. Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
  • Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Estimated Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per year based on location and experience.
