Steam Sales Specialist

WARE, a leading boiler rental and service company, is seeking a skilled Steam Sales Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for increasing parts sales while providing exceptional customer support to our Outside Sales, Service, and Rental teams.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent relationship-building skills, mathematical and analytical abilities, and experience utilizing content management systems to maintain websites. Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as a collaborative team player mindset, are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service, assisting customers via online chats, phone, and email
- Make outbound calls to new and current customers to prospect for new business, promoting and encouraging sales of parts to end users
- Update the company website with new content, including products, pictures, and spec sheets, while adhering to company brand standards
- Support Outside Sales, Service, and Rental Departments, sourcing equipment and parts, preparing quotations and proposals, and following up on orders
- Coordinate handoffs with other departments, ensuring timely communication and customer expectations are clearly defined and met
- Expedite and process orders for parts and equipment, performing order entry, reviewing orders for correct pricing, quantities, and shipment delivery
- Proactively communicate with customers, following up on outstanding orders, advising of project status, delivery dates, and changes to orders
- Deliver invoices and process payments for orders
- Ensure all returned parts are credited and returned to inventory
- Complete reports and sales calls as requested
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent with 5+ years of full-time industrial sales and customer service experience
- Excellent relationship-building, mathematical, analytical, problem-solving, CRM, and telephone skills
- Experience utilizing content management systems to maintain websites preferred
- Stellar verbal and written communication abilities, with a desire to share knowledge with others
- Collaborative team player with strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
- Positive and professional demeanor, with a strong work ethic and adaptability to new software and programs
- Self-starter driven to accomplish goals without detailed supervision
