Job Description

**Job Title:** Route Sales Specialist

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Route Sales Specialist to join our team. As a Route Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the Sales Center Leader with day-to-day operations, including on-going training and development for frontline associates and on-boarding and training for Independent Business Partners.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and deliver on-going training for frontline associates
  • On-board and train Independent Business Partners on order management, hand held computers, and merchandising best practices
  • Assist the Sales Leadership Team with day-to-day operations and/or issues as needed
  • Execute equipment, display inventory, and store reset events
  • Provide coverage for unplanned vacancies in Route Sales Professionals and Loaders/Shippers when necessary
  • Assist with the execution of procedures and programs to increase productivity, effectiveness, and quality of work

**Requirements:**

  • At least 21 years of age
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to obtain and retain a DOT medical card
  • Ability to climb, push/pull, bend, stoop, and kneel for extended periods as well as perform frequent reaching and use of fingers
  • 1 year of related experience in DSD (Direct Sales Distribution) is preferred
  • At least 6 months experience coaching and influencing others
