About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Biopharma Sales Specialist to join our team at GlaxoSmithKline. As a key member of our respiratory business, you will play a critical role in driving sales growth and delivering exceptional customer service to our specialist customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide scientific knowledge, business acumen, and customer engagement expertise to specialist customers in support of our biologic product.
  • Understand the reimbursement/distribution landscape for specialist customers and identify the appropriate resources to refer customers to for reimbursement and distribution choices.
  • Maintain knowledge and data on severe asthma therapeutic expertise and provide product educational programs/in-services to customers.
  • Develop strategies and tactics to generate sales and develop strong working relationships with Marketing, Payer Relations Managers, Medical, and other functions within GSK.
  • Effectively manage allocated resources and provide outstanding customer service by responding to customer requests, inquiries, and needs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Ability to travel domestically as necessary, with up to 30% overnight travel
  • Valid driver's license
  • 7+ years of pharmaceutical sales/medical device sales experience for Specialty Account Specialist (grade 8) or 15+ years for Senior Specialty Account Specialist (grade 7)
