About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate IFCCS Coordinator Bilingual to join our team at Children's Bureau. As a key member of our community-based program, you will play a vital role in strengthening and empowering relationships between clients, families, and community support systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate services for clients referred to IFCCS, including maintaining contacts with DCFS and DMH, and assisting with linkages to community resources.
  • Schedule and facilitate CFT meetings on a monthly basis, and develop plans and coordinate care with the IFCCS team.
  • Ensure weekly contact with the child and family, and consult with representatives from DCFS, DMH, and the child's attorney as necessary to coordinate care.
  • Integrate plans from system partners and comprehensively address the goals and objectives of all parties involved in the care of the youth.
  • Provide ICC and IHBS services as required or when the client is in crisis.
  • Ensure outreach to new IFCCS referrals within 24 hours, and follow up with the Department of Mental Health Countywide Administration.
  • Complete all Mental Health Progress notes within 24 hours of services being provided, and complete all other required IFCCS or Mental Health documentation within required time frames.
  • Maintain 24-hour on-call availability, unless otherwise designated.
  • Work collaboratively with therapists, staff, family members, public and private agencies, and community support systems in accordance with the needs of the client.
  • Attend and participate in individual and group clinical supervision.
  • Comply with all Federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations.

  • Lifespan compensation range: Unlicensed Therapist: $64,480- $75,000, Licensed Therapist: $70,480- $80,000.
