Financial Operations Coordinator

Job Overview
The Diversity in Health Training Institute (DHTI) is a leading non-profit organization dedicated to helping internationally trained immigrants with healthcare training enter the U.S. healthcare workforce. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Administrative/Accounting Assistant to join our team, providing administrative support to our Executive Director and Program Managers.
Responsibilities
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the Executive Director and Program Managers, including preparing meeting agendas, taking meeting minutes, and distributing them to attendees.
- Financial Management: Prepare financial statements, manage expenses, and reconcile bank statements.
- Communication: Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the Program Managers and Executive Director, monitoring and responding to emails and phone calls.
- Operations: Manage office supplies and equipment, and liaise with vendors as necessary.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of full-time, paid experience in a lead accounting/administrative support function, or 6 years of full-time paid experience in an accounting/administrative support function with 2 years in a lead worker capacity.
- Prior experience operating within a highly confidential position.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, QuickBooks Online (QBO) and other relevant software.
Salary and Benefits
$30 per hour for 3 days a week (24 hours/week), non-exempt position. Pro-rated vacation and sick leave, paid holidays, and full health insurance (medical, dental, vision).
