Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch customer service to all new and existing customers. Your primary goal will be to assess customer needs and provide solutions that meet their expectations. This role requires a winning and competitive mindset, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
This position is with a State Farm independent contractor agent, not with State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company. Employees of State Farm agents must be able to successfully complete any applicable licensing requirements and training programs required for the position sought.
Responsibilities:
- Managing incoming calls and customer service inquiries
- Assessing customer needs to achieve satisfaction
- Taking detailed notes and completing processes
- Retaining current customers by providing excellent customer service
- Working with our team to achieve common goals and grow the agency
- Writing insurance policies
- Help customers customize coverages, products, and services
- Claim submission
- Billing clarification
- Licensed in Property and Casualty (Must be able to obtain)
- Licensed in Life and Health (Must be able to obtain)
- Self-Motivated
- Detail oriented
- Excellent communication skills - written, verbal, and listening
- Understand and explain different policies to potential customers
- Pro-active in problem solving

- Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customer about insurance options
