About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Health and Wellness Activities Coordinator to join our team at Upstate University Hospital. As a key member of the treatment team, you will design and implement activities that promote physical, mental, and social well-being among patients.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Plan and conduct activities for patients, working individually or as part of a treatment team.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement tailored therapy plans.
  • Assist patients in leisure activities to enhance their mind, body, and spirit.
  • Requisition, store, and maintain equipment and supplies.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance, retirement savings plan, and opportunities for professional development.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Recreational Therapy or Therapeutic Recreation, accompanied by a minimum of one year of related experience. Certification as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (NCTRC) is also required.
