Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Therapy Program Developer to join our team at Upstate University Hospital. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized therapy plans to meet the unique needs of our patients.

A key component of this position is assessing and evaluating patient needs, which requires a strong background in recreational therapy or therapeutic recreation. You will also be responsible for requisitioning and maintaining equipment and supplies, as well as supervising students and volunteers.

We offer a competitive salary of $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Recreational Therapy or Therapeutic Recreation
  • Minimum of 1 year related experience
  • Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (issued by NCTRC)
