Position Overview:
We are thrilled to announce an opportunity for a Production Planning Coordinator to become a vital part of our menswear sourcing team. This role is essential in managing the administrative functions that support the production planning for our apparel line, working closely with various departments within the Design and Global Sourcing divisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry into the PLM system, including auditing Style Masters, Tech Packs, and bulk garment or fabric orders.
- Generate garment orders on a daily basis.
- Create Intent orders each day.
- Communicate with vendors to update PLM with necessary information and assess potential delivery challenges.
- Manage the Garment WIP report on a weekly basis.
- Update FFP dates in PLM for both garment and fabric shipments.
- Identify orders that do not align with buyer delivery timelines.
- Address factory inquiries regarding issues with joker tickets, costs, and purchase orders.
- Oversee fabric WIP management bi-monthly for all programs.
- Validate that fabric shipping dates meet garment production requirements.
- Provide monthly updates to the production capacity chart.
- Add garment POs to the capacity chart monthly to compare capacity plans with actuals.
- Maintain critical paths within the PLM system.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree.
- 2-3 years of experience in design sourcing.
- Specialized knowledge in men's fashion.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Capacity to prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines, demonstrating follow-through and urgency.
- Organizational skills essential for managing multiple tasks accurately and within set timelines.
- Creative abilities and a keen awareness of fashion trends.
- Analytical and strategic thinking skills to navigate competing interests and strict deadlines.
- Proficiency in technical sketching (both flat and illustration); skilled in Illustrator, Photoshop, and Excel.
- Willingness to work a minimum of 40 hours per week, with flexibility for extended hours as needed to meet design and product development cycles.
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
- Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods.
- Capability to stoop, kneel, bend, and reach daily.
- Occasionally lift and move up to 25 pounds.
- Utilize visual acuity, speech, hearing, hand-eye coordination, and manual dexterity to operate office equipment.
- Regularly work 40 hours per week.

The starting salary for this role ranges from $61,300 to $81,700, with potential increases based on merit, tenure, and other relevant factors. We consider individual skills, background, and experience when determining final compensation. Salary information is based on market location and may be subject to applicable wage laws.
