About the Role

As a Maintenance Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing maintenance staff, managing projects, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

You will have the ability to work well in ambiguous or changing situations, think critically, and make informed decisions.

Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and time-management abilities will be essential in maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee maintenance staff and manage projects to ensure timely completion and budget adherence.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify areas for improvement and develop corrective action plans.
  • Develop and implement maintenance policies and procedures to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Collaborate with hotel management to ensure seamless day-to-day operations and resolve any issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including budgets, schedules, and personnel data.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • A strong background in maintenance operations, preferably in the lodging industry.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct staff.
  • Technical proficiency in plumbing, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, appliance repair, and landscaping.
  • A working knowledge of swimming pool maintenance/operations.
  • Superior customer service skills, including the ability to manage difficult customers and/or situations.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year.
