Key Responsibilities

  • Advocate for Elara Caring's mission and values to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Uphold patient and staff confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Ensure an adequate number of volunteers are available to provide essential services.
  • Oversee the volunteer program, setting clear goals and objectives.
  • Recruit, assess, mentor, and manage volunteers to uphold the highest standards of integrity and compassion.
  • Match volunteers with roles that align with their skills and interests, maintaining accurate records.
  • Track and document volunteer performance and program metrics to meet organizational needs.
  • Manage resources efficiently in line with reimbursement guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate records of volunteer hours and generate cost-savings reports.
  • Ensure volunteer recruitment efforts align with strategic organizational goals.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a healthcare or hospice setting.
  • Proven ability to organize and lead volunteer initiatives.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Capacity to manage multiple tasks and meet documentation deadlines.

You will report directly to the Regional Director/Administrator.

Responsibilities
