In this position, you will:

Role: Front Desk Representative - Surgical Center

Primary Duties:

  • Welcome patients upon their arrival for outpatient surgical services.
  • Handle all Front Desk responsibilities, including patient check-in, collection of co-pays and co-insurances, managing multiple phone lines, and preparing patient medical records for upcoming surgical appointments.
  • Exhibit exceptional customer service skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Show proficiency in interpersonal communication with visitors, healthcare providers, and colleagues while ensuring effective communication across all facility departments.
  • Maintain a compassionate and caring demeanor.
  • Possess a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and general computer skills.
  • Understand HIPAA regulations and ensure compliance.
  • Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures established by Orthopaedic Solutions Management.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in a healthcare office setting.
  • Intermediate skills in data entry.
  • Outstanding customer service and communication abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills with the capability to handle multiple tasks.
  • BLS certification is required within 90 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a surgical center environment.
