Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled National Account Manager to join our team at Syneos Health/inVentiv Health Commercial LLC. As a key member of our account management team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing managed care strategies to gain and maintain product access and coverage for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement managed care strategies to secure favorable formulary status and maximize patient access
  • Work within assigned accounts to cover all market access channels, including commercial and managed care payers, trade accounts, and group purchasing organizations
  • Conduct financial analysis, develop proposals, secure internal approvals, negotiate terms and conditions, and implement contractual agreements with customers as needed
  • Develop and execute business plans that are consistent with company objectives, strategies, and commercial goals
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners, including sales representatives, area sales directors, field reimbursement managers, medical, and HUB services
Requirements:
  • BA/BS degree required
  • 10+ years of pharmaceutical and/or biotech experience
  • 5+ years of experience with large national accounts, including payers, MACs, PBMs
  • Experience with product launches in a hospital setting and contracting strategy
  • Cardiology experience preferred
  • Extensive knowledge of government and commercial payer coverage, payment landscapes, and policies
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional partners
  • Demonstrated planning and communication skills; ability to present information clearly to multiple stakeholders
