Role Objective:

The primary goal is to support the comprehensive operations of the Human Resources department by ensuring precise record-keeping for all ambassadors. This role involves providing assistance in recruitment, benefits management, employee relations, and training initiatives. Our commitment to warm and knowledgeable service ensures that all ambassadors feel valued and supported.

  • Evaluate all job applicants and assess their suitability for employment. Collaborate with department managers as necessary. Conduct thorough reference checks and manage the hiring process.
  • Draft necessary correspondence and memos as required.
  • Maintain daily logs (new hires, terminations, transfers, departmental meetings, turnover statistics) and prepare timely reports.
  • Facilitate all aspects of benefits enrollment and administration, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies. Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.
  • Administer payroll processing and any applicable deductions on a bi-weekly schedule.
  • Assist in the onboarding process; provide new ambassadors with an overview of benefits, guide them through enrollment forms, and ensure accuracy.
  • Notify management regarding monthly performance reviews, prepare payroll action forms, and track completion to ensure timely evaluations.
  • Oversee OSHA, Workers' Compensation, and Unemployment Claims responsibilities for the hotel. Keep the Director of Human Resources informed of claims needing management attention and assist in communication with insurance providers.
  • Support reception duties by welcoming ambassadors and directing them to the appropriate management personnel.
  • Contribute to the creation of the ambassador newsletter.
  • Organize and maintain ambassador files, ensuring weekly filing is completed.
  • Ensure full compliance with immigration laws for all ambassadors.
  • Conduct exit interviews and analyze trends.
  • Keep ambassador bulletin boards updated with relevant information, including memos and event highlights.
  • Regularly assess office and benefits supplies, complete purchase orders as necessary, and maintain adequate inventory levels.

Qualifications and Skills:

A High School diploma or equivalent qualification is required.

Experience with major hotel brands such as Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham, or Hyatt is preferred.

This position requires the following abilities:
