Job Overview
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Actalent, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our clients. This is a fully on-site position in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Take patient vital signs and weight, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
- Document all interventions, patient/family responses, medication dispensed/prescribed, and other relevant information in the medical record.
- Triage patient phone calls regarding the urgency of appointments, providing empathetic and professional support.
- Ensure an adequate stock of supplies and well-maintained equipment, promoting a safe and efficient work environment.
- Monitor and ensure accuracy of recording on patient medical records, maintaining all required reports, records, and statistics.
- Perform referrals and pre-certifications as needed and where applicable, ensuring seamless communication with healthcare providers.
- Schedule patient appointments per physician order and relay accurate information to patients in a timely manner.
- Take calls from patients and relay appropriate information to practitioners in a timely and professional manner.
