Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Mount Carmel Health System. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support and care to patients in a sensitive and compassionate manner.
  • Measure and record vital signs, and perform phlebotomy and lab specimen collection as needed.
  • Assist providers and RNs with procedures, and prepare patients for examinations and tests.
  • Document patient care observations and activities according to professional standards and procedures.
  • Screen, refer, and route patients, and schedule appointments and tests as needed.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a School of Practical Nursing.
  • Current license in good standing to practice as a practical nurse in the State of Ohio.
  • One to two years of previous experience preferred.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work as a member of a team.
  • Basic computer skills and previous experience with EMR preferred.
