Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Trinity Health. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.

Job Summary:

The LPN will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or provider to provide administrative support and care to patients in a sensitive and compassionate manner. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to patients, including greeting and escorting them to exam rooms, measuring and recording vital signs, and recording patient interviews and histories.
  • Assist with procedures and tests as needed, including phlebotomy, lab testing, and EKGs.
  • Administer medications and perform other tasks as directed by a provider or RN.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
  • Participate in emergency situations and provide support as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of a School of Practical Nursing.
  • Current license in good standing to practice as a practical nurse in the State of Ohio.
  • One to two years of previous experience preferred.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Basic computer skills and experience with EMR preferred.
