Position Overview
The E-Commerce Support Specialist plays a vital role in delivering exceptional service to customers utilizing the online order processing system.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers with inquiries related to order status, product information, and returns.
- Process manual and electronic orders through the designated platform.
- Collaborate with associated agencies and vendors to track shipments and resolve issues.
- Provide timely responses to customer complaints and escalate unresolved matters to management.
- Support customers with website navigation, registration, and general inquiries regarding the e-commerce program.
Qualifications
A high school diploma is required; an associate degree from an accredited institution is preferred. A combination of education and relevant experience may also be considered.
Experience
Minimum of two years in a customer service role within an e-commerce or retail environment, including data entry and order processing experience.
Skills and Knowledge
Proficient in customer service principles, with strong organizational and communication abilities. Familiarity with MS Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook, is essential. Experience with accounting software and Oracle is advantageous but not mandatory. Knowledge of adaptive technologies is a plus.
