Job Description

National Industries for the Blind is seeking a skilled Software Development Specialist to join our team in Alexandria, VA.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather and document technical and functional specifications
  • Troubleshoot production issues and identify best technical solutions
  • Research and identify EDI business requirements and specifications
  • Set up, configure, and maintain business partner integration with Oracle B2B and SOA suite
  • Monitor B2B, BPEL, and XML Gateway daily processes for different EDI transactions
  • Assist with EDI questions and troubleshoot technical EDI issues
  • Develop and maintain procedures for monitoring EDI transactions
  • Collaborate with end users and third-party organizations on EDI technical issues
  • Recommend EDI process improvements
  • Assist e-commerce operations and accounting department with EDI issues

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 2 years of experience in software development
  • Strong background in Oracle B2B and SOA suite
  • Experience with EDI transactions and XML Gateway
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
