Job Summary

West Oaks Hospital is seeking a dedicated and positive Per Diem Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) to join our team of compassionate, dedicated professionals.

Responsibilities
  • Facilitate and coordinate the daily clinical care of patients registered into the Chemical Dependency Program within the context of all hospital policies and procedures and TDSHS regulations.
  • Collaborate with the patient, family/support, multidisciplinary team, outside providers, and community agencies to support and coordinate treatment and discharge planning.
  • Complete psychosocial assessments, treatment plan reviews, individual therapy, group therapy, and family therapy sessions within established timeframes either face-to-face or telephonically with all patients, family, and significant others.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Psychology or related field.
  • LCDC or LCDC-I licensure.
  • CPR and hospital de-escalation certifications.
  • One to three years of clinical experience in an inpatient psychiatric setting.
