About the Role

As an In-Home Solar Sales Consultant at Cleanstart, you will play a crucial role in promoting sustainable energy solutions to homeowners. Your primary responsibility will be to engage with customers in person, educating them about the benefits of solar energy and assessing their needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with homeowners to discuss solar energy solutions and assess their needs.
  • Attend and schedule appointments with homeowners to educate them on the benefits of solar energy, including cost savings, environmental impact, and long-term sustainability.
  • Answer any questions and concerns homeowners may have about converting to solar.
  • Lead homeowners through the sales process from initial contact to closing the sale.
  • Build and maintain a network of customers through referrals and networking.
  • Conduct thorough consultations and presentations to effectively communicate Cleanstart's offerings and value proposition.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers, providing ongoing support and assistance throughout the sales process.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets and objectives.
  • Attend regular team meetings and training sessions to stay informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes related to solar energy.
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, interactions, and outcomes in our CRM system.
  • Represent Cleanstart with professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in sales is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to walk for extended periods and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • MUST have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Passion for sustainability and a desire to make a positive impact on the environment.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and sales techniques.
